Surgery of the nose, or rhinoplasty, can be done for two reasons: to open a stopped up nasal airway, or to correct the appearance of the nose, or both. Rhinoplasty is a difficult operation to perform as the human nose varies so much from individual to individual.
Everything from correcting a hump on the bridge of the nose to complicated variations in the shape and appearance to the tip to aligning crooked, or deviated, noses can be done. This operation must be highly customized to the individual patient and this can be done only in consultation.
